Before you come
The questions we are asked most, and a line to our reservations team. They reply within a day, usually within the hour.
Families are very welcome. Mashrabiya Suites sleep three and Lagoon Villas sleep six, cots are free, and the abra boatmen keep life jackets in every size. The hammam is for guests aged sixteen and over.
Rooms are ready from 15:00. If you land early, the gatehouse majlis has showers, breakfast and a quiet corner from 06:00, and we will bring your key to you the moment your room is ready.
Abras leave the palace jetty every twenty minutes from 06:00 until midnight and stop at the gatehouse, the quay and the beach steps. Villa guests also have their own abra on call at the jetty.
Yes. A buggy runs the arcade from the gatehouse to every building, the abras board level from the jetty, and four Lagoon Rooms are fully accessible with roll-in showers. Tell us what you need when you book.
Relaxed by day. After 18:30 we ask for smart casual at Mawj and Qamar. Swimwear belongs at the pool and the beach, and the old souks call for covered shoulders and knees.
We are not able to host pets, with the exception of assistance dogs, who are welcome throughout the palace.
On our flexible rate you can cancel free of charge until seven days before arrival; after that the first night is charged. Advance rates are paid at booking and cannot be refunded.
